Named for the old Brooklyn phone exchange NI9, Nitingale9 is the product of Chef Rob Newton's love of Vietnamese cooking. His passion for the cuisine has deepened during his travels around the country, where he explored open-air markets, had countless meals, cooked with different chefs and visited culinary landmarks such as Phu Quoc, the island legendary for the fish sauce that is the centerpiece of so many Vietnamese dishes.

Many dishes are gluten free, and excepting the near ubiquitous fish sauce, vegetarian options abound. Full bar and local craft brews available, as well as classic Vietnamese iced coffee
