Kick off a fun and healthy new year with friends and family at a four-mile race through Central Park. The emphasis on this race is fun, not competition! Music, live entertainment, and a costume party will warm you up, and fireworks will give your run an added sparkle. Toast the New Year at the (non-alcoholic!) champagne station halfway through the run, and celebrate with a crowd of thousands.

Costume Contest Don a costume and join the Masquerade Parade! The parade will begin at 11:00 p.m. in front of the Central Park Bandshell just south of the 72nd Street Transverse (line up at 10:45 p.m.). Awards will be given to the top three creative designs (whether they’re individual or group costumes).

Course
Start on the 72nd Street Transverse at Bethesda Terrace and head east to Central Park’s East Drive. Turn left/north on East Drive and continue to the 102nd Street Transverse. Turn left/west across the transverse and then left/south on West Drive. Continue south and turn left/east on the 72nd Street Transverse to the finish line.

Drag the street view to look around 360°.
