If you are meeting people at the airport, sometimes calling the airline or even checking the airline's website for arrival times gets you misinformation. A flight actually might be arriving earlier (or later) than listed. So if you want to know exactly when that flight is arriving, there is good news: the Port Authority has flight tracking tools for JFK, LaGuardia and Newark airports. This tool also can list arriving flights by time, very handy if you are meeting passengers on international flights. If the flight is still listed as "in air" the tool allows you to track the flight and see the aircraft's real-time position.

What's more, the Aviation Development Council also has a great flight tracking tool. AirportMonitorâ„¢ is the Internet flight tracking system for JFK, LaGuardia, Newark and Teterboro airports. Just click HERE.
