Ah, yes, New York: the city where all culinary possibilities enjoy life, however, briefly. So let's not get too excited or act too surprised to find that gourmet ramen joints are popping up around the city, much less in a place like Greenpoint, where Ichiran is set to make it's first New York landing (or so they've said for the last year). Handmade noodles, an infinitely-futzed with special sauce, and the acumen of almost 50 years of culinary experience with Japan's most famous noodle have the locals lining up in anticipation. Unfortunately for them, Ichiran seems intent on making them wait just a little longer.
