Harry, Britain's (second most) famous executioner, must figure out what to do with himself now that hanging has been abolished. There is no peace to be found at the pub he own, where he has become a sought after celebrity by regulars and reporters alike. Meanwhile is old assistant and the mysterious Mooney hang around with seemingly suspect motives.
